Thomas Dick Bryson, son of John and Elizabeth Bryson, was born May 21, 1861 at Hawleyville, Iowa and died November 7, 1952, at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 26 days.
On May 29, 1887 he was united in marriage to Ora E. Morgan at Wilsonville, Neb and to this union was born two children. He lived in the Hepburn community 32 years before moving to his present home 11 years ago.
He made his home with his son until November 1 when he was taken to the Armstrong Nursing home where he passed away.
He is survived by his son, Chester P. Bryson, Bedford, Iowa, and daughter Mrs Effie Cox, Red Oak, Iowa, two sisters, Mrs Nona Kendall, Hepburn, and Mrs Eunice McCoy of Clearfield, Iowa, also 16 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death, October 26, 1895, as well as his parents, three brothers and one sister.
He was a member of the Christian Church, Hendly, Neb. He was a kind and loving father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
