Born in Charleston, S. C. the daughter of the late Isaac and Daisy Williams, she was the wife of the late Joseph C. Gibbs. She had been a Millville resident for the past four years and previous to that had lived in Port Norris.
Before her retirement Mrs. Gibbs had been employed with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville.
She was a member of the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Port Norris.
Survivors include a son, Alphonso Williams, Sr. of Millville; a daughter, Katrina Gibbs of Newark, DE; a brother, John Williams of Philadelphia, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Charysse E. Gibbs.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12 noon at the In His Presence Worship Center, Broad and Third Streets, Millville.
Burial will be made at Haleyville Cemetery in Commercial Township.
Friends may call on Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church.
