WOLPERT, William M. Age 80, of Hamilton, died suddenly Wednesday, April 18, 2007, while on a day trip to Dearborn County, Indiana. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 24, 1926, the son of Rocco and Mayme (Panden) Wolpert. In 1951, in St. Ann Church, he married Charlotte Clendenin and she preceded him in death in 1977. Mr. Wolpert served in the US Army, during WW II. He had worked as a drill press operator for Black-Clawson and later Gray Iron, and for Western States, retiring in 1988. A member of St. Ann Church, he also was a member of the K of C Father Butler Council, F.O.E # 407, and a past member of the Monkey Mutual Aid Society. Bill lived his life to the fullest, enjoying time spent with family and grandchildren as well as playing cards, working jigsaw puzzles, reading books, and taking walks. Survivors include four children, all of Hamilton; six grandchildren; a great grandchild; anad a sister. Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by a beloved granddaughter, Kelly Asher; three brothers, Leroy, Robert and Charles Wolpert; four sisters, Emily Farley, Mary Louise Weiland, Lillian Oberrecht, and Dorothy Wolpert. Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am Monday in St. Ann Church. Visitation will be from 5-8:00pm Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Ann Church.
