Mass of the Resurrection will be intoned at 9:30 am Monday in St. Stephen Church & burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 pm in the funeral home & the Altar Rosary Society & St. Elizabeth Auxiliary will hold joint services at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 11,1884 in Indianapolis, Marion County, In., a daughter of John & Clara Holbrock Panden. [John Panden was also known as Rocco Pantone]. The family moved to Hamilton in 1886 & she was educated in St. Joseph Parochial School.
In 1902 she was married to Charles Wolpert in St. Joseph Church. Mr. Wolpert preceded her in death in 1927.
Mrs. Wolpert was a member of St. Stephen Church, its Altar Rosary Society & St. Elizabeth Auxiliary, Knights of St. John, & the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a life member of the Tabernacle Society.
Mrs. Wolpert leaves 4 daughters, Mrs. Mary Louise Weiland, Hamilton, Mrs. Stanley (Emily) Farley, Indianapolis, Mrs. August (Lillian) Oberrecht, N. College Hill, Mrs. William (Claire) Huesing, Hamilton; 3 sons, Robert J. Wolpert, Sr., Charles A. Wolpert & William M. Wolpert, all of Hamilton; one devoted daughter-in-law, Mrs. Leroy (Neil) Wolpert, Hamilton; 35 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Paul (Lillian) Hingsbergen, Mrs. Agnes Brodwolf, Mrs. Robert (Clara) Kappers, Sr., & Mrs. Rosemary Riegert, all of Hamilton; nieces & nephews; other relatives & friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Wolpert; one son, Leroy Wolpert; one brother, Fred Vogt, Sr.; one sister, Leona Vogt.
Pallbearers will be David Oberrecht, Richard Weiland, John Huesing, Robert J. Wolpert, Jr., Richard & Gregory Wolpert, all Mrs. Wolpert's grandsons.
