Cullom -- Millie Attig, 95, of Cullom died at 7:47 p.m. Sunday, Aug 25 1991, at Tjardes Health Care Center, Evenglow Lodge in Pontiac.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Stewart Funeral Home, Cullom. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Cullom. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Attig was born April 10 1896, in Charlotte Township, Livingston County, Illinois, the daughter of William G. and Ollie (Voss) Flessner. She married Lester A. Attig Feb. 9, 1916. He died Aug 23, 1977.
She was educated in Ottmuller and River schools. She was a homemaker. For over 70 years she had been a member of the former Charlotte United Methodist (River) Church. She also had been a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the River Church.
The family suggests memorials to Evenglow Lodge, Cullom Fire Department Ambulance or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Lester Attig's mother was Anna Ellinger. She was a daughter of Elizabeth Michael who was married to Adam Ellinger. Elizabeth Ellinger was a sister to Margaret Michael Koerner. Margaret is wife of Christian and mother of Henry William Koerner. Henry William Koerner was first cousin of Lester's mother.
