Don Michael Trimm, 54, of the Pleasantfield community, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at the Baptist Medical Center Princeton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 31, 2010, at Bryan Independent Church with burial in the adjoing cemetery. The Rev. Andrew McAfee will officiate. Visitation is from 6-8 on Thursday at the funeral home and will be from 1-2 p.m. today at the church prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumition has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Trimm was preceded in death by his parents, Woodard A. and Doris L. Glover Trimm; brother, Vann, "Sonny" Trimm and grandparents Amasar and Mollie Dodson Trimm and Vann and Julia Brasfield Glover. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Sonny's son, Michael "Mike" Trimm Leach.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Trimm of Pleasantfield; children, Michael Trimm and his wife, Tiffany, of Dora, Amasar Trimm and wife, Adina of Parrish, Joy Sims and husband Kris, of Lawson, Okla; sister, Brenda Watts and husband, Jerald of Dora; grandchildren, Brittany Trimm, Katelyn Trimm, Derrick Trimm, William Trimm, Adain Trimm, Lorelei Trimm and JoAnna Faith Sims; three nieces and three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
