Private (Pvt), 45th Company, 12th Training Battalion, 165th Depot Brigade, Camp Travis, San Antonio, Texas (26 Jun-19 Jul 1918). Deployed overseas 17 Aug 2018 (promoted to Private 1st Class, 13 Sep 1918), Company B, 34th Infantry, Regiment, 14th Infantry Brigade, 7th ("Hourglass") Division, U.S. Army, American Expeditionary Force (AEF), WWI. Killed in Action, on the Western Front in Metz, France, 29 Oct 1918.
