There is no Hiram Beals listed separately in the Aug 1820 Census in Ashfield, though Hiram and Peddy were already married by then (Mar 1820) and if they had their own home would have been listed separately. There are two adults, M & F in household of Comfort Beals in 1820 who are in the age group for Hiram and Peddy. Custom was to live with parents until financially able to move out. Also, Peddy's brother Christopher m. Clarissa Beals, sister of Hiram.
