Edmund [Fifth of seven children, fourth of six sons to Enoch, grandson of Joseph] born 5 Sept 1715; married 18 March 1736, Judith, daughter of Dr Matthew and Sarah (Knight) Adams, who was born 2 Nov 1789, and died 7 Sept 1784, and second, Elizabeth, widow of Captain James Smith and daughter of Deacon John Noyes of Newbury. She died 22 Sept 1817, aged 86. He was a farmer by occupation, lived upon Crane Neck Hill, West Newbury, and died 29 August 1803.

Dr Matthew Adams was the son of Abraham and Mary (Pettingell) Adams, and the grandson of Robert Adams, the emigrant, who came to Devonshire, England to Ipswich in 1635, thence to Salem in 1638, and to Newbury in 1640. Dr Adams was the first physician in what is now West Newbury, ad died 15 Nov 1755, aged 69.
