Olive, daughter of Abraham and Martha Stine, was born in the Cisne-Johnsonville vicinity Sept. 18, 1878, and she spent practically her entire life in that area. She attended the Free Will Baptist church as long as her health permitted.
In October, 1900, she was married to Orlando Powless who passed away April 6, 1950.
Surviving are a daughter, Pearl Ellzey; a brother, Clyde Stine; a granddaughter, Vivian Anderson; and one great-granddaughter.
Services were conducted from DeSelms Funeral Home with interment in the Johnsonville Cemetery.
