Burr Rites

Funeral services for Mrs. Helena Burr, 98, who died at 8 p.m. Sun[day], March 14, at Riverview Care Center, were held Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

The services were conducted by Father Daniel Keppler of Cascade.

Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery ____ grandsons as pallbearers.

The Scripture Wake Service was held Tuesday evening at the Tuecke-Allen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burr was born in North Buena Vista Sept. 20, 1877, the daughter of Anselm and Margaret Hilby Keppler. She was married to Frank P. Burr at Holy Cross in 1904. Mr. Burr died Feb. 17, 1937.

Surviving are two sons, Arnold of Garnavillo and Leo of Guttenberg; two daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Entringer of Sioux City and Mrs. Ervin (Agnes) Vorwald of Garnavillo; 21 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Matilda Kaiser of Madison, Wis., and one brother, Leo Keppler of Los Angeles, Calif. She was preceded by her husband, two daughters and nine brothers and sisters.
