Frank Burr Dies in Hospital; Was 58 Years Old
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD IN ST. MARY'S CHURCH SATURDAY MORNING

Death came to Frank Burr, lifelong resident of Jefferson township, Wednesday in Mercy hospital, Dubuque.

Mr. Burr had been in poor health for several months. Friday of last week he underwent an operation from which he did not recover.

Born on a farm in Jefferson township July 18, 1878, Mr. Burr was known as one of the outstanding farmers of this vicinity. He was but 58 years old at the time of his death.

Married in 1904

He married Miss Helen Keppler in North Buena Vista May 11, 1904, and returned to Jefferson township with his bride to farm.

He leaves to mourn Mrs. Burr, two sons, Arnold Burr of Garnavillo, and Leo, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Al Entringer of Sioux City, Mrs. Emmett Haut of Davenport, Mrs. Irvin Vorwald of Garnavillo, and Miss Geneva Burr, at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Adolph Meyer, Mrs. John Stamm and Miss Fannie Burr, all of Guttenberg.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. J. A. Dupont will officiate.
