Dorothy Wayne Goolsby Nowlin, 87, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at her home. She was born May 6, 1923 in Marshall County, MS to the late Walter and Odella Paton Goolsby. She was retired from Futorian Mfg. and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 11:00a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at United Funeral Service with Rev. Louie Williams and Rev. Billy Foley officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Trish Hall of Pickwick Dam, TN; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Gray Nowlin; a son, Freddie W. Nowlin; three sisters and one brother.
