Mrs. Lydia Wilshusen, 85, 620 East 10th St. York, died Saturday night at the York General Hospital.

She was born May 27, 1888, in Hamilton County, the daughter of Henry and Anna Meyer Blase. She attended Parochial school in Hamilton County.

On February 15, 1909, she married Carl Wilshusen. Mr. Wilshusen died in August of 1966.

The couple had moved from Hamilton County to York in 1945.

Mrs. Wilshusen was a member of Ladies Aid Society of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Polk. She was a member of LWML and Dorcas Sewing Circle of the Emmanuel Church of York.

Survivors include a son, Elmer, Polk, three daughters, Mrs. Erwin Light, York, Mrs. Alton Driewer of Bradshaw and Mrs. Raymond Sagehorn of Polk, 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceeded in death by her parents, a son, two grandchildren, one great-grandchld, six brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 26 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leland Kleapfer and the Rev. Erich Prange officiating. Burial was in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Polk.
