William Alfred Moody, 76, 114 N. West Temple, died of natural causes Jan. 19 at 2:15 a.m. at his home. Born June 28, 1870, Dry Valley, Nev., to WilIiam Cresfieid and Cynthia E. Damron Moody. Married Ella Williams, June 4, 1894, Thatcher, Ariz. She died May 24, 1895. Married Sarah Blake, May 17, 1899, Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died April 25 1910. Married Fannie Wessman, April 30, 1932, Salt Lake City. She died April 30, 1949. Married Cora Esmeyer, Aug. 25, 1960, Salt Lake City. Member, first Arizona State Land Commission; State Real Estate Board, Berkeley, Calif. Superintendent of schools, Graham County, Ariz. Superintendent State Industrial School, Fort Grant, Ariz. Author of two books. President LDS Samoan Mission, 1908-10. Former bishop Thatcher LDS Ward, Thatcher, Ariz. Member, Salt Lake Seventeenth LDS Ward. Served LDS missions to Samoa, Central Atlantic States. Survivors: widow; son, daughters, Alton B., Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Hazel M. Knudsen, Honolulu; Mrs. Oliver C. (Ruth) Ostegar, St. George; Mrs. Lawrence N. (Delia) Bates, Saint Helena, Calif.; Mrs. Harold T. (Flora) Tease, Los Angeles; Mrs. Harry M. (Mabel) Whitmer, Phoenix; Mrs. Regenia M. Chadwick, Las Vegas, Nev.; 22 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 1 great-greatgrandchild; half sister. Mrs. Annie Clawsen, Salt Lake City. Funeral Monday, 2 p.m.. Seventeenth LDS Ward Chapel, 142 W. 1st North. Friends call 260 E. South Temple, Sunday, 4-8 p.m., Monday at the Ward Chapel one hour prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
