Born at Muskingum Twp., Zora was one of 5 Children of Reuben Simons & Lucebe L. Stacy MASON. She married Wallace Allison on 19 Sept 1897 at North Olmstead, Cuyahoga Co., OH. She had been Postmistress at Relief for several years. Zora and Wallace had no children. Zora's father, Reuben Simons MASON, who had been a distinguished 1st Lieutenant in the 55th U.S.Colored Infantry during the Civil War, died in her home in January 1919; his body was returned to Waterford, Ohio.
