J.L.Poteet about 80 of Jennings Community, Paris, Rt.3, died at home Tuesday 7am.
The Funeral will be held at 3:pm Wensday at Friendship Church near Biardstown by the Rev. Curtis Hoover, and burial will be made in Friendship Cemetery by Brown-Roden Funeral Home.
Designated as Pallbearers were Henry Coleman, Jack Armstrong, Henry Pickering, Frank Pierce, Harold Greenlee, Sam Ingram, Roy Ingram, and W.M. Pearson.
Mr. Poteet was born at Biardstown, March 5,1863, and had been a farmer in the vicinity.
He leaves his wife, the former Miss Florence Armstrong, and these children: Mrs. Mollie Harris, Clardy; Roscoe Poteet, and Horace Poteet; Jennings; Luther Poteet, Biardstown; and Homer Poteet, Paris; 28 grandchildren; 12 grt-grandchildren and these brother's and sister's; Sam Poteet, Henry Poteet, Mrs Anna Menard, Miss Lula Poteet, and Miss Lizzie Poteet, Cooper; and Cager Poteet, Little Rock, Ark.
