Mrs. Isabelle Gordon, aged seventy-seven years, died at 5:30 o'clock Saturday evening at her home, three miles south of Blue Mound. Her death was caused by a complication of diseases. She was born in Prairieton township, Christian county. Dec 9, 1852.

She is survived by the following children: Isome Gordon and Joseph Gordon of Blue Mound and Mrs. Edward Goffinet? of Pana. The funeral will be held at the residence at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. The burial will be in the Adams cemetery.
