George A. Hubbard, a widower of 30 years, and at the age of 62, died January 21, 1929 as a result of injuries suffered two days earlier. His parents, Elizar B. and Lydia Lucretia (STRAIGHT) Hubbard are buried on the same lot as George A. He had removed from Black Hawk County, Iowa to Spencer, Clay County, Iowa, several years ago and had been the sexton of the (Riverside) Cemetery nineteen years before his unexpected death.

He is survived by his only daughter Lillian (HUBBARD).

Surviving siblings, brother Lewis B. Hubbard of Mason City, Iowa, sister Ida Susan (HUBBARD) Hoffman and brother Elmer E. Hubbard both of Muskogee, Muskogee County, Oklahoma, and an Uncle George W. Hubbard of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.

His wife, Caroline E. (ROSS) Hubbard died about 1899, Jesup, Buchanan County, Iowa
