Funeral services for Lemuel A. Anderson, 51, who died Monday, September 15, at 1 a.m., were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock in the chapel of Green-Kleinegger funeral home. The services were conducted by the Rev. John Rasmussen of Ruston and the Rev. George W. Pomeroy of Minden.

Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery.

He was a lifelong resident of Webster parish and was a merchant for several years. He was a member of the Methodist church at Evergreen where he took an active part.

Surviving are his widow; one son, Lemuel Anderson, Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. Grady Merritt; one brother, J.C. Anderson of Springhill; three sisters, Mrs. B.C. Crow of Shreveport, Mrs. C. Flowers of Glenmore; Mrs. Ambrose Terry of Arcadia, and one granddaughter, Carolyn Merritt of Minden.

Pallbearers were E. Henry Lowe, Sr., John David, Sr., Ellis Clement and Arthur Mobley of Minden; Jesse Boucher of Springhill and Frank Kirkley of Doyline.
