L.A. Anderson, Jr.
MINDEN--L.A. Anderson, Jr. passed away Saturday afternoon in his home on Tillman in Minden. He was 49.
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Rose-Neath Chapel with the Reverends Ed Thomas, Tracy Arnold, and Buster Benefield officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Anderson, a lifelong resident of Webster Parish, was employed as a salesman for Toms Toasted Peanut Company until his retirement. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Syble A. Merritt, Minden; a niece, Mrs. Carolyn Barnett of Minden and a nephew, Barry Merritt of Bossier City.
Serving as pallbearers were Buddy Stanley, Danny Sanders, Carrol Toms, Harvey McClung, Elizah McPherson, John Ford, Conrad Mandino, and Jim Lasken.
