Abram Fuller

Abram Fuller was born January 18, 1818, at Andover, New Hampshire, died July 28, 1895, aged 77 years, 6 months and 11 days.

He was married to Catherine Brown, at Talentine church, New York, on November 3, 1842. The fruits of this union being four children, two of whom are alive and were present. Mrs. Brown died September 17, 1877, and her remains lie in the Chesterton cemetery.

Mr. Fuller was married the second time to Mrs. Rebecca Williamson on December 30, 1878, who survives him. To this marriage three children were born and are alive.

Mr. Fuller emigrated to Indiana from Little Falls, Herkimer county, New York, in the year 1854, and located at Calumet (now Chesterton), Porter county, Indiana. He lived in the village several years, then moved on a farm about 2 1/2 miles north-east of Chesterton which he had purchased in the year 1852, having secured the same prior to moving his family here. He was a member of the Masonic Order and had been for 50 years, having been initiated into the mysteries at Little Falls, New York. He assisted in the organization at Calumet lodge, No. 379, F. and A. M. located at Chesterton, Porter county, Indiana, and was at the time of his decease a member in good standing.
