Samuel S. Abbott Passes Away Wednesday
Samuel S. Abbott, father of Mrs. Dalton Ewing, of the Davidson district, and Ed Abbott, of Lafayette, died at the University hospital in Boulder Wednesday, February 20, from the effects of an operation he underwent on Tuesday.
The deceased was aged 79 years and had been in poor health for a number of years. He is survived by twelve children.
Funeral services will be held at the Dalton Ewing home at Davidson tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Donald Tippet, of Boulder, and the remains will be laid to rest in the Lafayette cemetery, beside those of the deceased's wife.
