Berlin Leon Carlton, 75, of Jasper, died Monday, April 18, 2005. He was born May 7, 1929 at Murray, the son of Claude and Mamie (Daniels) Carlton. He was a lifetime resident of Newton County, Korean War Veteran and a lifetime member of the Veteran's Association. He was the manager of the Diamond Cave for 37 years.

He was married to B. Breedlove on November 3, 1956 at Parthenon and was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Clifford Carlton in 2001.

Survivors are his wife of the home; a son; his stepmother; a brother; and three grandchildren.

Funeral was 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bobby Young and James Compton officiating. Burial was in the Union Hill Cemetery at Parthenon.

Pallbearers were R. Henderson, G. Breedlove, C. Daniels, K. Carlton, R. Carlton and T. Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers were K. Carlton, K. Carlton, K. Carlton, K. Manen, Z. Adams and R. Haynes. {nct}
