Bonnie was the daughter of the late William and Stella (Smith) Breedlove. She was born on August 25, 1938, in Parthenon, Arkansas. She was a lifelong resident of Newton County, where she raised her family and managed the Diamond Cave alongside her husband for 36 years. Bonnie was well known for her great cooking, especially her cinnamon rolls that she loved to make and share with everyone.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Berlin Carlton; one son Clifford Carlton; two sisters Imogene Breedlove (infant) and Lorene Fickel; 4 brothers Arnold Breedlove, LR Breedlove, Ray Breedlove and Doy Breedlove.
She is survived by her son Kirby Carlton and wife Regina; her grandkids Kalan Carlton, Kimberly Adams and her husband Zach, Kylin Carlton and his wife Sabrina, Makaila Edwards and her husband Logan; her great grandbabies which she loved dearly, Kylee, Anderson, Kynzlee, Ava, Tinleigh, Trennen, Abby, Lily and Levi (her latest joy and soon to arrive).
Please join us in remembering and honoring the life of Bonnie. Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, Arkansas. There will be a graveside service officiated by Bobby Young on Friday, July 21, 2023, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Union Hill Cemetery in Parthenon, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Zach Adams, Logan Edwards, Ricky Henderson, Harold Brasel, James Breedlove and Ronnie Carlton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Billie Kilgore, Karen Royce, Erin Edgmon, Kacey Holt and staff of Boston Mountain Medical Clinic, Legacy Hospice and Newton County Nursing Home.
