Howard Lippincott
J. Howard Lippencott, 59 years, of Montgomery avenue, died Monday, July 24, 1961, in Washington Hospital. He had been seriously burned Wednesday, July 19, in attempting to extinguish a flash paint fire while working for the Tri-State Engineering Company in Washington.
Mr. Lippencott was a son of Thomas W. Lippencott and the late Mary Grimes Lippencott, and was born April 10, 1902, in Franklin Township.
He had been employed by the Tri-State Engineering Company nearly 30 years, and was a formean.
Mr. Lippencott was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church at Ruff Creek, and B. P. O. Elks 457 in Waynesburg.
Surviving are his father, his wife, Jessie S. Lippencott, and several nieces and nephews.
