A former employee of Berco at Berne and a sister of Howard Reinhard of Bluffton, Esther L. Lehman, 94, of Berne, died at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Swiss Village in Berne.

She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Berne.

Born March 1, 1911, in Adams County, she was a daughter of Adolph and Lydia Meyer Reinhard. Her marriage was on Sept. 3, 1933 at Berne to Harry Lehman, who died in 1993.

Surviving, in addition to the Bluffton brother, are one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Joyce) Fox of Berne; one sister, Ruth Dynes of Geneva, seven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Arnold, Herman, Harry and Carl Reinhard, and three sisters, Grace Nussbaum and Mary and Alice Reinhard.

Calling will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne. Services will be at 10:30 a.m.Tuesday at the First Mennonite Church with Rev. Bob Sprunger and Marie Nussbaum officiating.

Burial will be in M.R.E. Cemetery. Memorials to Swiss Village.
