Rev. Kenneth A. Dykstra, 87, of Urbandale and Pella, IA, passed away Thursday evening at the Taylor House in Des Moines, IA. Rev. Dykstra ministered to RCA Churches and made pastoral calls faithfully throughout his years of Christian ministry. Surviving are his daughter, Lois Gates of Altoona, IA; son, Mark Dykstra of Altoona, IA. and son, Paul(Nancy Klein)Dykstra of Kellerton, IA.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials be given for Reformed Ckhurch of America Mission Program or Talking Bibles.
Visitation: will begin on Sunday morning February 27, 2011 at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home. Visitation: with the family present will be from 2-4 pm Sunday February 27, 2011 at First Reformed Church, Pella, IA. Funeral Service: 4 pm Sunday February 27, 2011 at Furst Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa. Interment: Oskwood Cemetery, Pella, Iowa.
