Mr. Williams was born in China Springs and attended school there. He graduated from China Spring High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He married Pearl Jenkins in 1947 in Hillsboro. She died in 1982. He retired from the Waco Veterans Administration Medical Center in 1972. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Tempie Wells of Valley Mills and Joann McKinney of Houston; five grandchildren; and 12 grandchildren.
