Raymond Hibbard, 65, father of Mrs. Henrietta Ware, 236 W. 12th Ave., died early this morning in the hospital at, Wausau, following an extended illness of three years.
A resident of Wausau, he had been employed there in the warehouse of Wisconsin Public Service Corp, before his illness.
He was born April 15, 1893, in Merrill, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hibbard. Mr. Hibbard was married to Miss Erna Beck in Wausau on July 10, 1916. He was a veteran of World War I, and had spent most of his life in Merrill, Wausau and Rhinelander.
Surviving besides the daughter Mrs. Ware in Oshkosh, is one son, Albert Hibbard. Princeton, N.Y.; five grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nieces and one nephew.
Services will be held Tuesday at, 2 p.m. at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. B. H. Romanowski, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in the soldiers' plot of Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Monday evening until the hour of services.
