She married Richard Hancock on December 31, 1953, and he preceded her in death December 23, 1998.
Geraldine attended Geist Chapel Church and loved to be involved in church activities and work with charities. She was very giving and once helped 750 children in Costa Rica have Christmas who otherwise would not have, and helped complete a church.
She loved to paint, spend time with her grand and great grandchildren, and she loved her dogs.
Geraldine is survived by her sons, Jay (Lendy), Gary (Jayne) and Richard E. (Susan) Hancock II; daughters, Debra (Rick) Cope, and Sharon (Ron) Nelson; brother, Cliff (Connie) Howard; sisters, Barb (John) Knapke, Eilene (Clarence) Tucker, and Shirley (Don) Marshall; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nadine Unsel.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
