Leonard then married Artie Pearl Fuller on August 12, 1926 in Wabash Co., IL. They had 4 children, Norma Lee, Gordon Dale, Phyllis Ann and Donna Gail Mounts. Norma was stillborn. The other 3 children lived to adulthood.

Leonard L. "Buck" Mounts, 71, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday at Welborn Hospital in Evansville.
Surviving are a son, Gordon of Summit, N.J.; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Sullivan of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Harry Mathers of Joliet, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
