Mr. Celestine was born Dec 31, 1881, in Italy. He had resided for the past 59 years in the Ellsworth area, where he operated a dairy farm.
He was a member of St. Luke's R. C. Church, Bentleyville and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1268, Bentleyville. His wife, Elizabeth, died May 25, 1948.
Surviving are five children, Ann, wife of Dom Rotonda, Detroit, Mich.; Rose, wife of Patsy Tiberi, Ellsworth; Magalda, wife of Bernard Risbon, Scenery Hill, R. D., Natalie, wife of Adolf Nardoni, Detroit, Mich, and Albert, Scenery Hill, R. D., one brother, Nunzio, in Italy; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
