MRS. ELIZABETH CELESTINE
Mrs. Elizabeth Celestine, 77, wife of Samuel Celestine, Scenery Hill, R. D. , near Ellsworth, died Tuesday, May 25, 1948, at 11:17 a.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.
Mrs. Celestine was born in Italy, Oct. 16, 1870, and came to this country 43 years ago, making her home in the Ellsworth district where she became well known.
She was a member of the St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church of Bentleyville.
Besides her husband, she leaves the following daughters and a son: Mrs. Anna Rotondo, of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Rose Tiberis, of Ellsworth; Mafalda Celestine, at home; Mrs. Natalie Nardoni, of Detroit, Mich., and Albert J. Celestine, at home, and six grandchildren.
