Tim went on to be with the Lord after a fight with cancer. He fought it until the very end not giving up and putting all his faith in the Lord. It seems that God had bigger plans and needed him sooner.
We should all feel better knowing that we have someone on our side there in heaven. Knowing Tim, he's probably got everyone there cracking up with his lame and corny jokes.
He was a long time employee of Select-O-Hits Music Distributors in Memphis. He was an employee of Pop Tunes and worked part time at a deli across the street. He would run lunch deliveries and one of them was to his sweetheart Tonya who worked at Record Data, a real estate title company. Since they met through the deli, he asked the owner if they could have their wedding there and they did. They were married August 28th, 1982.
Anyone that knew Tim was well aware of his sense of humor and his kind and gentle heart. He loved his family very much and was crazy about his grand kids. He was a wonderful husband, dad and granddad. His courage, generosity, humor and most of all his faith have been an inspiration that will continually impress everyone who had the privilege to know him.
