Death of Mrs. Bruce
At about six o'clock this morning at the residence on West Tenth street, Mrs. Mary Bruce, wife of Edgar F. Bruce, passed peacefully away at the age of 41 years, 9 months and 21 days. Her maiden name was Miss Mary Dings. She was born in the state of New York and in the year 1882 married Mr. Bruce with whom she has lived in this city since 1890. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and seven children, four sons and three daughters. They are - Roy, aged 20 years, Donnah aged 17, Edna aged 10, Gladys aged 10, Ward aged 6, Carrol aged 2 and an infant son aged three days. Mrs. Bruce had been in quite good health until just recently. She was subject to spells of heart failure, however, and this morning when she called to her husband that she desired him to raise her up, he raised her gently in his arms and she immediately expired without a sign of pain. Neighbors, who called on her yesterday, state that she seemed cheerful.

The deceased had always been a faithful Christian mother whose tender care and loving example will be missed in the home. No definite arrangements have as yet been made. The son Roy, the parents, four sisters and on brother living in Milwaukee may desire that the remains be taken to that city for burial. The sorrowing family have the sympathy of many friends in their sad bereavement.
