Annie Fay Rister, 82, died Friday, October 19, 2007, at an Abilene hospital.

Services will be 10 AM Monday, October 22, 2007, at Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home with Revs. Janice Kahl and Doris Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Hawley Cemetery under the direction of Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.

Born May 29, 1925, in Roby, Fay was a daughter of the late Sam and Mamie (Stephens) Davis. She graduated from Roby High School and married D. C. Rister, Jr., December 24, 1945, in Abilene.

Fay was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Fay was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, three brothers, and a grandson, Jeff Wilson. Survivors include four daughters - Cheryl Chapman of Hamby, Londa Leverton of Ovalo, Jajuan Wilson of Driftwood, and Lawynn Beasley of Abilene; one brother, Harvie Davis of Sweetwater; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one special friend, Edith McCain and husband, Skeet.

Family visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, October 21, 2007, at Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
