Hermleigh – Funeral for Alfred Davis, 61, of Hermleigh, who died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday in a Sweetwater hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Bob Creswell, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Lone Wolf Cemetery directed by Bell-Seale Funeral Home of Snyder.
He had been a resident of Scurry County 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Mrs. Bert Stahl of Snyder, and Margie Davis of Abilene; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Hayes and Mrs. O. L. Cooper, both of Hamlin, and Mrs. D. C. Riser of Hawley; three brothers, Lawrence of Palo Alto, Calif., Harvie of Sweetwater and Calvin of Concord, Va.; and two grandchildren
