Sergeant Robert (Robby) Lee Hild, Jr. departed this world a Soldier, Patriot, Husband, Loving Son and Brother. Robby was born in San Bernardino, CA on 29 August 1987 to Kaylasue Hild (Adams) and Robert Lee Hild, Sr. (both surviving).

Sgt. Robert Hild enlisted in the U.S. Army and within the week was credited with saving the life of a fellow soldier who had suffered a heart attack while undergoing basic training. For his assistance in saving this fellow soldier he was awarded his first of two U.S. Army Achievement Medals. Upon completion of basic training he volunteered and was selected for Airborne Training at Ft. Benning, GA. Upon Completion of Airborne training he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft Bragg, NC and subsequently deployed to Iraq during the "surge" which helped stem the tide of extremist insurgency. Completing his first combat tour, Robby returned to Ft. Bragg where he married Tiffany Wilson.

Upon his return he was assigned to the 3rd Special Force Group (Airborne) and had recently been deployed to Afghanistan to support the eradication of Taliban forces. Robert's Awards and decorations include the U.S. Army Commendation Medal, U.S. Army Achievement Medal (two awards), U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with Bronze Star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Airborne Badge (Basic), Marksmanship Badge (rifle), and two Overseas Service Bars.

A patriot, Robby always supported and defended the principles of fairness and democracy from an early age until his passing.

Although you have left this world way too soon, your worldly duties are done. Rest in the arms of God our dearest.
