Frank was the oldest boy of four brothers in the Given family who lived on a farm.
When Frank arrived in Vietnam 28 December 1962, he was assigned to Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division. Frank died as a result of injuries when the airplane he was a passenger of crashed upon taking off. He was returning back to his unit after having gone on R & R at Hong Kong.
Services were held at the Chapel on the Pasea, at Brush Creek Blvd.
Survived by his parents, Ivan and Kathryn Ashlock Given and his brothers, Floyd, Flint and Mike all of 5603 North Highland, Kansas City North, Missouri.
