Mrs. Sue Powell, age 60, of Glenwood died Thursday, February 17, in the Medical Center of Macon after a brief illness. Sue was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County. She was a homemaker and a Postal Clerk. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenwood. Sue is preceded in death by her father, Leon "Pee Wee" McDaniel and her brother Timmy (Turtle) McDaniel.

Sue is survived by her husband, Winston K. Powell of Glenwood, one daughter, Melanie S. Finnegan of Oceanside, California, her mother, Mildred McDaniel of Glenwood and one grandson, Jaden Finnegan of Oceanside.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sue Powell will he conducted Sunday afternoon, February 20 at 3:00 from the First Baptist Church of Glenwood with the Pastor, Rev. Kevin Hammons and Rev. Walter Jarrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6 until 9 P.M. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.
