Mr. Timmy "Turtle" McDaniel age 51, of Glenwood died early Thursday morning February 3, 2011 at Lower Oconee Community Hospital of Glenwood, after a brief illness. He is a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County. Timmy was a Welder and Logger, and a member of First Baptist Church of Glenwood.
Survivors include one son, Brenton Hunter McDaniel, one daughter Casey McDaniel of Soperton, one sister Sue Powell of Glenwood, six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Service for Mr. Timmy "Turtle" McDaniel will be held at 3:00 Saturday afternoon from the First Baptist Church of Glenwood with Reverend Kevin Hammond and Reverend Walter Jarriel officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood City Cemetery. Stewart Funeral Service of Glenwood is in charge of arrangements.
