Michael Langenfeld

Michael E. Langenfeld, 74, a resident of Pelican Lake, Oconto County, died early this morning at St. Mary's Hospital, Rhinelander, where he had been a patient for four months.

He was born in Town of Calumet, Fond du Lac County, Oct 29, 1891, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Langenfeld, and attended the Marytown Parochial School.

A master plumber, he owned his own plumbing business. In October 1916, he was married to Helen Mauer in Staceyville, Iowa. He was a member of Catholic Knights, Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent DePaul Society and the Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife; and two sons, Eugene of Oak Park, Ill., and Willard of Ocean Side, Long Island, N. Y.; four grandchildren; three brothers, Adolph and Edward, both of New Holstein; and the Rev. Nicholas Langenfeld, New York City, and four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Halbach, Waterford, Mrs. Ottilia Roegner, Antioch, Ill., Mrs. Rose Feldner, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Stella Wilberscheid, New Holstein.

Funerals services will be at Holy Rosary Catholic church, New Holstein, with the Rev. Nicholas Langenfeld, celebrant of the solemn requiem high Mass. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
