Frederick A. Albee, 72, and his granddaughter, Pauline Hoffman, past 13, died in Hammond Saturday in an apparent murder-suicide. Mr. Albee apparently shot his granddaughter then took his own life. Pauline was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman was twice married. His first wife was Pauline's mother, who died when Pauline was 9 years old. Mrs. Albee, the grandmother, died 1 Oct 1934. Both funerals held Sunday in Hammond. Pauline was interred in Wetmore Cemetery in Ponchatoula. Mr. Albee was interred in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond.
