Charles Joseph Jesse was born May 6th, 1880, near Blue Hill, Nebraska, and passed away at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, in Hastings, November 27, 1935, at 1:30 a. m., at the age of 55 years, 6 months and 21 days.
He was united in marriage to Miss Freda Schwenninger in 1904. To this union five children were born. two of whom preceded him in death. One daughter, Ethel, died in infancy and another daughter Helen died at the age of three years (NOTE: this is false, she was 18 at the time of her death).
For the past twelve years Mr. Jesse has made his home in Juniata.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Hohlfield, Mrs. Mildred Dreibellis (sic), also one son Fredrick and two grandchildren, all of Juniata; his mother, Mrs. Charlotte Melinda Jesse, of Hastings and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Marsh, of Hastings, and Mrs. Mary McKim, of Deloit, Iowa; two brothers, Elmer, of Seattle, Washington, and William, of Tacoma, Washington, besides many friends and relatives.
