Frederick "Fred" Jesse 66, 5710 S Santiam Hwy died Monday at Lebvanon community Hospital after a short illness. He was born jan. 25, 1906 in Hastings, Neb. He moved to Idaho in 1940 and came to Lebanon in 1942.
He operated a refrigerator shop and for the past 17 years had owned and operated the Santiam Trading Post.
He married Dorothy Clark July 2, 1934 in Kearney, Neb. She survives.
In addition to his widow, survivors include his mother, Mrs. Freda Burr of Kenesaw, Neb. several nieces and nephews. Three sisters preceded him in death.
