Mrs. Aubrey Alderman Reed, 84, of 5100 Waters Ave. died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. The Brooklet native lived in Savannah most of her life She retired in 1968 after 20 years with the Board of Education. She was a member of First Christian Church, where she was active in the Christian Women's Fellowship and had been a Sunday school teacher.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. C. E. Brogdon of Savannah and Mrs. H. V. Rhodes of Atlanta; a son, William H. Reed Jr. of Savannah; and eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild

Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Brooklet City Cemetery. Fox and Weeks Funeral Home.
