Ida Fratoni Antonelli, 85, of Parlin passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007, at home.
Originally from Attleboro, Mass., she lived in Cliffside Park for 51 years, before moving to Parlin to live with her daughter, Carla Sutherland.
Before her retirement in 1994, Mrs. Antonelli had been employed by the Borough of Cliffside Park as Board of Health nurse for 28 years. She also served as the school nurse for Epiphany School in Cliffside Park.
She was predeceased by a husband, Joseph C. Antonelli; her parents, Sestelia and Antonio Fratoni, and two sisters, Erma Gingsberg and Lillian Caso and a brother, Angelo.
Surviving are three daughters, Carla Sutherland of Parlin, Margarita Tzortzakis and her husband, Emmanuel, of Bensalem, Pa., and her twin sister, Ada Fratoni of Attleboro Mass.; a bother-in-law, Frank Antonelli and his wife, Hazel, and a sister-in-law, Mimi Hooper and her husband, Tom.
Calling hours at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. Additional calling hours will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Monday at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro, Mass. Funeral services will be Monday at St. John the Evangelist in Attleboro, Mass. Burial will take place at Newton Cemetery in Newton, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Epiphany Roman Catholic Church, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ 07010.
