Mr. Turnbow worked as a convenience center technician with the Hardin County Solid Waste Department. During his life, Mr. Turnbow attended the Shady Grove Church and the Hinkle Baptist Church.
He departed this life on June 5, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 16 days.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann Ethridge Turnbow of Saltillo; two daughters, Teresa Ann Turnbow Barnett and her husband Don of Byhalia, Miss., and Brenda Turnbow Austin and her husband Mark of Decaturville, Tenn.; one son, Jeffrey Turnbow and his wife Felecia of Russellville, Ark.; four grandchildren, Chelsea, Star, Altan and Toria; one sister, Ruby Sallis of Sardis; and three brothers, Roscoe Turnbow and his wife Virginia of Saltillo, Leland Turnbow and his wife Mary Lynn of Sardis, and Homer Turnbow and his wife Louise of Savannah, Tenn.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Turnbow was preceded in death by three sisters, Altie Turnbow Cohen, Lillian Turnbow McGlaughlin, Nellie Turnbow Barber and two brothers, Richard C. Turnbow and Harl A. Turnbow.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 8, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Reed's Chapel in Scotts Hill. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery.
