Inez Adrean Ellis, 91, Martinsville, died February 16, 2011, in her residence. Mrs. Ellis was born January 26, 1920, in Martinsville, to the late Charles Wesley and Bertha Mae (Warren) Northern.

Mrs. Ellis attended the Church of the Nazarene on Robb Hill Road. She was a devoted and loving mother, caring for her children and being a homemaker her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Harrison Ellis; sons, Lawrence E. "Pete", and Farrell R. Ellis; brothers, James and Harold Northern; sisters, Kathleen Henderson, Minnie Bryant, and Margaret Norton.

Survivors include her sons, Lester O. Ellis of Martinsville, Dean J. Ellis of Martinsville; daughters, Phyllis M. Price of Crawfordsville, Wanda May Thompson of Martinsville, Ginny A. Rivenburg of Sweetwater, Texas; sister, Iona "Dot" Martin of Plainfield; 25 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
